Innkeeper

The Inn at Cedar Crossing is seeking a part-time front desk innkeeper.  The ideal candidate is responsible for providing exceptional hospitality from beginning to end of stay for guests, while also monitoring and managing the property.  Duties include managing the daily operations, responding to inquiries and taking guest reservations, guest check in/check out, concierge services, managing housekeeping staff, office work and securely handling customer information.   Being committed to continuously familiarizing themselves with the local community and events to share with the guests is required.  This applicant will be the primary representative of the inn and accountable for the polite and efficient operation of the property, anticipating and exceeding the guest’s expectations.

Server

We are currently looking for a professional, enthusiastic and hardworking server. Cedar Crossing Restaurant & Bar is a high volume restaurant in a historical building with both loyal clientele as well as tourists to Door County. The ideal candidate must be able to operate effectively as part of a team, ensure smooth and quality service as well as taking hospitality to heart. A sense of urgency is a must while maintaining a friendly disposition. Applicants must have a strong dedication towards learning and motivation to progress within our busy evolving multi-faceted establishment. Must be responsive to constructive feedback from managers, chefs or staff. Wine knowledge is a positive. Paying attention to details, being dependable, having a flexible schedule and being a team player are essential.

Housekeeper

Ideally looking for a self-starter who has experience with professional housekeeping. The housekeeper will work closely with the innkeeper to create a clean and tidy environment for the guests. Housekeepers work in tandem on busier days. Tasks include cleaning guest rooms, sweeping and mopping floors, watering plants, dusting, cleaning of public spaces (breakfast room, hallways, stairways). Light laundry duty including washing of rags and mop heads. Restocking and completing inventory for cleaning supplies and breakfast room supplies. Assist in setting up breakfast for overnight guests, buss and reset tables. Possible interactions with guests while attending to the breakfast room. Periodic deep cleaning of restaurant including public restrooms, dining room, bar and bakery/café which will include vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and cleaning fixtures.

Busser

Cedar Crossing Restaurant & Bar is looking for a diligent part-time busser to assist and support the front of house team.  This is an intricate role to the overall success of our establishment.  Applicants should be organized and have a keen eye for details.  Responsibilities include clearing tables, cleaning and resetting quickly to support the pace of our dining room.  Assisting customers with questions or concerns to support the team is essential.  Weekends are a must.
